    It's free since IIRC 1.0 or 2.0.

I'm looking forward to it, now that I have the b0xen capable of it.

Rendering and gui sucked on PII@467/G400 in 1.0 and 2.5.

Wanting to try out Maya was also one of the reasons I switched to NT4.0 Workstation in 1999 for main work OS.

The other reason was that 1998 first edition was uncapable of staying up by itself for 3 hours then and it was no OS for what I wanted to do with box.

In a perfect world... spammers would get caught, go to jail, and share a cell with many men who have enlarged their penises, taken Viagra and are looking for a new relationship.

I have been learning Maya with personal learning edition for quite a while!

I think its interface over gmax (free, similar to 3dsmax)

I brought a "quick start learning guide" for Maya recently. Its pretty good for its price

I do not like that I have to give them my name, adress, phone number, etc etc

I just get the feeling that I'll get spammed to death
If there's artificial intelligence, there's bound to be some artificial stupidity.

It won't run on Win98, mustn't be all that good then.

              You can give them mine:

              name: lkdjhlaskjfh
              address 123414 hakf auwe
              state: CA
              zip:12345
              telephone:345-567-7890

The email has to be your own to get the key though.

when it looks like a site requires an email just for the sake of harvesting it I always use:
              fredblotnic@myob.net

I wonder how much spam o'l fred gets nowadays?

Not nearly as much as Darl McBride, if I can help it. Also, abuse@ or webmaster@ wherever you're signing up, is also nice.
