  • Darn it Audigy 2 back and working but

How the hell do you stop the media source from loading on each startup. I've removed from the startup process but it keeps getting retinstalled.

      You just... close it.

It will happily oblige you and not come back.

Yeh, normally though you have find a tick or something to turn it off. You don't expect things like close to keep the thing permantly closed.

Yeh the drivers had to re-install those three or four times before they installed properly.

I don't know why you ppl keep on complaining. I like my Audigy. It never got me into trouble. It never made it inside my computer either. What do you mean it's not the same thing????

My Audigy 2 Platinum, when I first put it in, killed my windows. (granted, like a dumb schmoe I forgot to remove the SBlive 5.1 drivers first...) But the install for the Audigy 2 drivers didn't even finish installing before it locked my computer up. THEN when I rebooted, NOTHING would load up. It just sat there, deader than Byock's sexlife.

                            Ow, man. That's harsh.

I mean, what did Creative do to deserve that?
