It seems to be a match for the 9500Pro, and is noticably faster than 9600Pro. A bit off from the "faster than 9700Pro in all cases" bit that was circulating.

Another guy compares it to NV's 5700/NV36. Nvidia may have a winner on their hands with NV36, in non-DX9 anyway.

Hmm, interesting. This may be my next card. I'm still kicking myself for not getting a 9500Pro. $200 isn't a bad price, especially with HL2 included.
Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.

I'm looking into a 9600XT as well. The free HL2 voucher is a big bonus.

Hopefully, it won't be that "single-player only" version.

          Hmm, HL2 voucher. Interesting.

Wow, the 9500 Pro still beats out the XT in half the tests.

Been reading a bit on Beyond3D, there could be a new revision of 9600XT with better clocks before actual release. Hmm.

i think it's more the memory that's the problem, why don't they clock it at 350 or even 400? That should give it quite a performance boost.

I'm sure it would. But then it would interfere with the 9800xt

Power Color plans two "Bravo" models starting November, a 256MB vivo with 340 memory clock and a plain 128MB with 380 memory clock.

                  French article

Though it's Power Color we're talking about and image quality might not be so good and you can expect the memory not to overclock too well past the set specs judging by previous such models released (high clocked 9700Pro...).

edit: And no mention of what happens with overdrive. Actually, overdrive might be a good thing, forcing them to use more overclockable memory than in previous models. Either that or they'll have a serious problem with this "feature".
