  • PIII 500 vs Celery 800

    I'd guess the Celeron would be best for office type work, but what about for games/multi media? I know the PC won't be doing much as it's a bit old!

    go for Celeron - both cpu's have the same fsb, so that's not a bottleneck in this case (and I think that 500mhz P3 doesn't have L2 working at full speed, so it's bigger size doesn't mean that much in comparison)

        I am currently using a P3 500 Mhz.
        Seems alright, even for more daunty Photoshop tasks.
