  • Ulead MediaStudio Timeline missing

    Hi Guys,

I've installed (and re-installed) Ulead MediaStudio but when I look at the Timeline the Timescale is almost impossible to see.

None of the scale numbers are showing and the whole thing appears to be flattened so that '1 sec' appears almost unreadable.

Sounds like a display problem of some sorts as there's no way to increase the size of the Timescale vertically so things can be read.

    I'm running XP Home with a NVIDIA GeForce2 MX card at a resolution of 1024 x 768.

    Any ideas????

This is almost always related to a DirectX or display driver issue (or both). Try un-installing your display drivers then run the latest DirectX installer. Now re-install the latest version of your display drivers and reboot.

Thanks for coming back to me. I've carried out your instructions and have re-installed and updated the drivers and DirectX software (ver 9.0). Unfortunately it hasn't made any difference :-(

I agree it seems to be a display problem but I can't see where else the problem could be. I had a trawl around some other news groups and have found that other people have also experienced the same problem - but no one knew how to fix it. The operating systems were also XP, but some were 98SE. Wierd.

Do you have anything else I could look at??
