When I got XP Pro, PC-VCR could not open anymore. If I tried to open it, it gave an error (An unrecoverable error has occurred. This application will be shut down). I ran updates on all my programs and windows, I had service pack 1. Nothing happened. I downloaded the newest video tools, for the G400TV. The error now says "Martox video hardware is currently unavailable. Other software may be using this hardware or there may not be enough graphics memory available". I'm already using 16 bit colour quality and I closed all the programs that use this hardware. I could not find new drivers for my G450eTV card. My "Matrox QuickDesk" works 100%. I changed my computer memory so it doesn't run on "dual DDR"-nothing. I have an Intel D865GBF motherboard with 512Mb dual DDR ram and a 2.40GHz Hyper Threading CPU. The only other card I have is a Creative 5.1live sound card. I have very little programs installed, Office, Winamp, Kazaa, Nero and Norton anti virus & internet security.

Which VT do you use?
Did you try to use a search function in this forum before posting?

If you are using VT 2.10a, this version does not work on HT CPUs. You can get the beta MtxCPUinfo.dll file from Vicken at the Matrox Tech Support Forum.

You may want to try adis' newer Video Tools which already has HT CPU support...
