  • Annoying popup.....

    My dialup window comes up twice, right after I boot into Windows.
    It only connects to my ISP, not to any specific site. (if I let it). This has just started to happen, and I cannot figure out why it is doing this.
    Nothing in startup has changed, no new programs have been added.
    Can anyone help me track down the source of this irritation - or more importantly, how to stop it?

    Thanks

      If Ad-Aware doesn't find it, try Spy-Bot as well. It's more focused on finding auto-dialers and whatnot.

        Yep, tried both. Nothing found. The thing is, it is not trying to connect to a site, just my ISP.

          Regedit:

          HKEY Local Machine -->Software --> Microsoft --> Windows --> CurrentVersion --> Run

          Look over there, you might be surprised.
