  • NEC 2080UX vs. Sharp LL-T2015

So now that I can order the Sharp LL-T2015 from Japan I have to decide whether it is worth the trouble over the NEC 2080UX. The Sharp model has 16ms response time, 176 degree viewing angle and 400:1 contrast ratio. I'm not sure what wide viewing angle tech they're using but I'm guessing it's Sharp's ASV technology. The NEC has 350:1 contrast ratio, 176 degree viewing angle and 25ms response time. It uses S-IPS panel which most people like due to colour reproduction and fast grey to grey response times. Now, which one is a better choice? I'm not sure how well the Sharp panels perform in GTG switches compared to the NEC and generally I'm not familiar with Sharp panels at all. Any suggestions much appreciated!

There is also a new Viewsonic 20" and 21" out, it appears to be very good.
