  • Matrox PC VCR=split frames, anyone?

I've tried to capture a movie from the tuner of my RRG with PC VCR. Ok I know that there are better SW for this task, but I wanted to see the movie in fullscreen while capturing, and AFAIK Virtualdub doesn't sport this feature.
After playing the captured stuff I noticed the following effect: the lower half of the frame doesn't belong to the upper part! I mean that the upper/lower part are delayed by at least 1 frame relatively to each other. Somehow like this:
    ---------- ---------- ----------
    | frame1 | | frame2 | | frame3 |
    ---------- ---------- ----------
    | frame2 | | frame3 | | frame4 | ...
    ---------- ---------- ----------
    ----TIME---->

    Oh yes, system specs:
    A7V+Duron700@900
    256Megs PC133SDRAM
    MillG200+RRG+Memory+DVD+TVO(PD6Beta, VT154)
    SBLive
    IBM 7200RPM 30Gigz(on ATA100)
    Pioneer 104 DVD
    Realtek NIC
The strange thing is that it works extremely well&smooth with Virtualdub&MSP, the "effect" only shows in PC VCR.
    Anybody any ideas?
    Thanx in advance,
    Chris
