Hi, I didn't notice that there's a PCI version of the Parhelia. Where did you see this?

Just out of curiousity, why is the PCI version of the Parhelia 700 bucks??? Granted it has 256mb of Ram, but still! Even the AGP one with 256mb of ram is 600. (also am I to believe that the extra 128mb of ram on the Parhelia is worth 200 bucks more? Not to mention the 256mb version has a slower clock speed than the 128mb version. Sometimes Matrox just makes me think WTF???)

I looked through the page and it looks like the person was using some sort of AGP to PCI adapter.

Yes it allows an agp card to be used on a pci slot.

PS: Why doesn't the image shows correctly? Anyone?

Don't click reload (for some time - as long as your machine is sending something, and you can see whether it's still sending or not when you click on the connection icon in the tray...) in your browser after you click submit.

Yes its a pci/agp adaptor. However I trust that brand about as far as I can spit them. The Japanese version of no-name edible styrofoam.

That adaptor was discussed here at great depth some time back

Cool, let's all start a company and label our cards 'pro' so we can charge an assload for them
