    Bulk quantities of coasters available.

I have created an MPEG1 video and I am having a hell of a time creating a SVCD / VCD. Getting lots of coasters. Burner is LG CD-RW

I have tried Roxio and Ulead Movie Factory for burning. I get the folders on the disk and thats all. The eror message at the end of burning is:

    Drive not ready
    Error: SAO-2336-spti-35-02-02-04-08 (Ulead)

    or

Generic error from cd/dvd recording software. Please make sure the drive is ready and try again (Roxio)

    Any help please

Note that VCD and SVCD require a very specific combination of frame size, audio encoding and bitrate to qualify as VCD (or SVCD) compliant. Just creating any old MPEG will not do.

All the encoders I'm aware of have VCD, SVCD and DVD presets. Use those and the resulting file should work fine on the matching disk standard.
