On the lookout for two 21" monitors....

Hopefully pretty soon I'll be able to afford those two 21" monitors I've been needing to finish my Parhelia set up. Anyone know a good place that I could get a couple of refurbished ones? I'd like to make as close a match as I can to the monitor I'm using now. It's a HP P1100 21" monitor. It's capable of 1600x1200@85hz (which is what I'm currently running on.) It's a Trinitron tube.

A while back I found a site that had on sale some Sony 21" monitors that had two connectors for VGA. Those would be nice, that way I could just flip a switch and be able to use my server on it.... But not neccesary. (now if only I could find that site again.) I'm looking in the $300 range. Thanks.

where in the world are you?.. I know some places in Canada that may have decent stuff.. but shipping to anywhere else would be killer...

I got my 21" rebaged Sony (SUN) for about $200 in the local here.
See if you can find a place that sells second hand servers/sparc stations/sgi etc.
Build quality is usually good. and not many people go for second hand sparc's so its fairly cheap.

I did find a place on the net that sells the exact same model monitor that I have for 200 bucks! The only bad part is that it's 50 bucks for shipping. Ouch! That still makes it 250 bucks per monitor though . I think I can handle that. I'm in the lousy desert of Utah of all places, so shipping from Canada probably would cost more than the monitor

If you get Sonys with BNC and DDC inputs you have four possibilities. I'm very, very happy with my Sonys.
