  • Blinking pictures / Video Overlay ?

    Hello Everybody,

Humm now i have some strange behaviour using my P650.

Whenever I go over a pictures containing a link, in my browser, all the pictures containing a link start blinking. I have the latest driver and everything, I do not have a clue how to solve it. I did not have this behaviour with my G400.

As well as I have some problems with the video overlay, it does not work totally well. When I switch from YuY2 to YV12 in my TV-software (Terratec Cinergy 400TV) it does lock up. When I leave the software and start it again it does restart my system. As well as after it has locked up the first time the screen starts showing green/purple boxes. What could this be ???

Thank you all for your input!

Have you performed a thorough uninstall and reinstall of drivers.

I uninstalled G400 and Millennium drivers, rebooted, shut down, inserted Parhelia, installed Powerdesk HF and didn't see any of the problems you described.

I have done that, I have removed the drivers and installed it all again... and still the same behaviour. I installed DirectX 9b, I installed a new bios, etc. Continues being the same.. :-(

I'd try MTSTU and tweak Bitmap cache to off and turn off Fast writes.

I tried starting MTSTU, however I believe it is not yet compatible with the Parhelia LX series ie. P650 & P750. So it disabled my monitor and I had to restart. I guess I'll install the system again in a week or so, going to add some fans as well. And then i'll make a complete rebuild and install all software again.
