  • How to be 733+ in UT...

I figured MURCers would love this with the large UT population here.

I agree. Since they can't seem to even complete the LEET lingo properly most of the time...

Is there a LEET-English dictionary someone can direct me to. I used to find it annoying. Now I'm finding it completely incomprehensible.

Most, I'd say a good 99.9% of the computer populous of the world, who call themselves "LEET" don't even know the original meaning of the word.

Just a passing fad, much like the pig latin some us had to suffer through during the 80's and 90's.

                        Funny link though.

80s and 90s? Pig Latin is far older than that, JW.. it was much more popular in the 30s and 40s.. just watch a few Marx Brothers movies and Three Stoges shorts.

I realize that, however, and maybe this was just when/where I was growing up, there were a lot of kids that insisted on using pig latin as some sort of secret language. Also I doubt there were many of us that were alive during those earlier time periods, so obviously I couldn't very well say we had to deal with it then. *shrug*

I think there's nothing wrong with 1337 per se.

It's just another form of language.

What's wrong is people who know only 1 form of languag.

Otherwise "Compatabilty, Athalon, Moniter, ..." really get on my nerves
