i have windows 2000 professional with a g 400 max i am running the 5.39 driver and i cant install video tools 2.04.15. The installation starts and then it tells me its inturrupted and cant continue. Is there another driver that i could use with a different version of video tools.. I need the video tools to run. i heard that the newest driver 5.88n might run with VT 3.0 is this true? What are the differences between the 2 versions

You can install over existing installation
but it's always recommended to uninstall older version first...

                1. Uninstall VideoTools - Add/Remove Programs > Matrox VideoTools

1a. Clean VideoTools traces using my VideoTools cleaner

                2. Uninstall PowerDesk - Add/Remove Programs > Matrox Graphics Software

                3. Restart

                4. Install PowerDesk 5.88.061

                5. Install VideoTools 3.01

You can download all this from my page http://adis.szm.com

                That's all...

Am I blind or stupid or what ??? - See attachment...

You don't need VidCap, just install how it's explained...

Don't forget: latest Win SP, latest mobo chipset drivers and DirectX9 are also very important updates.
