  • Second PCI VC with "P"?

Can I install a PCI VC along with my "P" and run more than 3 monitors?

And if so which VC card is the best for this purpose?

    All suggestions welcome.

    Sure.
Add a G450 PCI, and you can run 5 displays.
Add a G450 quad MMS, and you can run 7.
Add 2 G450 quad MMS, and you can run 11.
Toss in another, you can run 15.
The hardware is no problem....just the $$$ to get all that hardware
    Core2 Duo E7500 2.93, Asus P5Q Pro Turbo, 4gig 1066 DDR2, 1gig Asus ENGTS250, SB X-Fi Gamer ,WD Caviar Black 1tb, Plextor PX-880SA, Dual Samsung 2494s

          Speaking of which:

          How useful is triplehead?
          What happens to taskbar?
Do window maximized to single monitors cover the taskbar?

Is there a single click way to maximize monitor across 1 display, then 2 displays and then entire desktop?

          Does Pixeltouch work under triplehead?

How useful would it be to power 3d head from G450 PCI?

How bad is G450 PCI on nonitnel chipsets?

What's the proabability of taking Parhelia bulk to retail speeds?

            - Personally, I find it VERY useful. I usually keep my email on 1, use Word in the middle and browse the web on the third.

            What happens to taskbar?

            - It stretches across all three, or if you choose 2 display plus a feature display (TV) it will span across the first 2 monitors.

Do window maximized to single monitors cover the taskbar?

            - No, the taskbar still remains when you maximize windows within one display or across all three.

            - Not sure, but you can easily switch between maximizing within one display or spanning across all three using CTRL-click.

            Does Pixeltouch work under triplehead?

            - Doesn't seem to be an option when running TripleHead...but I could be wrong...

not sure about the rest of the questions...sorry

Soupy, what kind of monitors are you running?

Do Windows that get maximized across all 3 screens get hidden under the taskbar?

I'm running three 17" Viewsonic CRTs, nothing fancy. the screens do not get hidden by the taskbar. the bottom edges of each window (or of the single spanned window) meet with the top edge of the taskbar.
