No Audio when watching TV with G400-TV

I couldn't find a previous posing that delt with this...

I get sound out of my speakers when using PC-TV Remote with "file" inputs (.avi and .mpg, for instance). I also get CD and system sounds. But, when I switch the PC-TV Remote input to TV, I get video without any sound.

I have checked the sound mixer settings and everything is cranked up without "mute".

Anybody out there have a clue what is happening?

Two thoughts;

1. Are the BOB's audio cables connected properly to the sound card? The labeling is NOT intuitive.

2. Does your sound card's drivers have their OWN mixer program? If so the output may be muted there.

I had this problem with the SB AWE-64 Gold's installed mixer and its built-in reverb feature. For the longest I couldn't figure out why I got an echo on my speaker playbacks no matter what I did with the system settings.
