  • Win2K - Dark Transitions in MSP6

Please can somebody help me with Windows 2000. I've installed MSP6 and thought everything was fine until I started on a new video project.

When previewing my work I realised that whenever there is a transition my source footage gets darker and then goes lighter again when the transition ends. It appears to happen whenever MSP needs to recompress the video but I don't get this problem in W98SE.

Maybe it's because I'm using the TI drivers in W98 and the Microsoft drivers in W2K suck !

Does everybody else have the same problem?

This makes MSP6 totally unusable under W2K.

Sorry I forgot to mention my source video is DV Type 1.

      Hi

Your version of qdv.dll is the culprit
DirectX8 when released should sort out your problem, in the meantime have a read through http://pub9.ezboard.com/fpyro1394faq...picID=24.topic

The DVSmartPlay patch may be all you need.

The TI1394 & MS1394 device drivers are not related to the codec.

      IHTH
