  • Idenifying Pentium IIs

We've just bought a load of decommisioned hardware from work and amogst all the rubbish systems and the like I managed to get a collection of Pentium II's.

One of them has a sticker identifying it as a 266 and an Id of -

    80522px266512

which I presume means that it is a 266 with 512k of cache.

I have two unidentified processors with the id

    80522px300512ec

which I'd like to mean 300MHz with 512k cache (what does the ec mean?)

Anyone know off the top of their head if I'm right?

    Maybe this link will help:

It cost one penny to cross, or one hundred gold pieces if you had a billygoat.
Trolls might not be quick thinkers but they don't forget in a hurry, either

Excellent - I was looking for that but work caught up with me and I was distracted before I had a chance to google enough.

      Thanks.
