          Sure looks conceptually original. It will be interesting to see this, but I won't pay theatre price to watch it.

            Connery was born in 1930. He'll be 73 in August. Harrison Ford was born on July 13, 1942 and he's not aging anywhere near as well as Connery.

                  Most women I know think Sean Connery is more sexy at 75 than most male 'super stars' are at 25! Now that's a man tht knows how to play to the ladies!

                  LXG just got it's PG-13 rating, which opens it up to be a huge blockbuster.

                      FYI:

                      LXG is based on a highly praised series of illustrated novels written by Alan Moore ("The Watchmen") and illustrated by Kevin O'Neill. Publisher: DC. These are definitely not for the kiddies.

                      Later on in the novels things get even more involved with classic characters; we even get to see H.G. Wells Martians and Dr. Moreau. If LXG is a hit we just might get a look

                      BTW: if this movie follows the books there is a character named Bond, as in an ancestor of James Bond. Nice turnabout.

                        The watchmen - that was simply the best.....

                        I still have a bloodstained smiley at work...

                        Didnt he do 'V for Vendetta' as well as 'Dark Knight Returns', a joker/batman one (forgot the name), and one or two of 'the Thing'?

                        Camelot 30000 was a bit poor, however (think he did that one too?


                        Wasnt there talk of making a Watchmen movie? That would be a good read.....

                          Basically the characters are from popular classics (when i was growing up, everyone of my age had read the whole lot) from different authors and given a twist. Captain Nemo was revealed to be an Indian only in the sequel to 20000 leagues by J. Verne.
                          Cant wait for the movie though
