  • New MSI 875P Neo bios out

    Version 1.6 which enables MAT.

This supposedly increases memory performance. My machine won't boot with it enabled you have to select turbo modes.
At least over version 1.5 I can boot with the fast option selected in the bios rather than slow but the machine is then slower overall.
    Go and figure.

The problem maybe that I've got all memory slots full. I haven't tried voltage tweaks this time. I tried last time but it still would n't play.

Correction. Mat is a MSI technology that doesn't seem to work very well. Well not in my case tried a few tricks but no go.
Some people have got it working by rising the mem voltage to 2.7V.
PAT is Intel technology which they thought they disabled in the 865 chipset.
