My Athlon 600 will take up the challenge. The thing is that I want to reinstall anyway so if it kills my machine, I don't care. Who wants to test this on 2K Server?

Just remember to go and kill-off auto-update in the control panel and then also stop the whole darn service in service manager - just like with SP3 one gets this as free bonus with every installation of the service-pack.

It didn't turn itself back on for me and my machine did not explode.

Mine did not explode either, but I nearly had a cadenza when I saw it being turned on/installed without my permission even though it was dead before the patch was applied.

Fixed the slow shut down on the work machine that suddenly appeared for no reason.
Now reboots when you log back in after the screen saver.
