  • PowerDesk HF on P750 generates an exception

every time i attempt to run PowerDesk (or it runs at startup) it fails and generates the following message:

PDeskNet.exe - Common Language Runtime Debugging Services

Application has generated an exception that could not be handled.

    Process id=0x864 (2148), thread id=0x950 (2384)

    Click OK to terminate...

would be nice to configure my 3rd LCD panel!

    any help would be appreciated

yes, you will need the .net 1.0 framework to use Powerdesk

Powerdesk HF requires the .NET framework version 1.0 (preferably with SP2 as well) to be installed in order to function. There is also a .NET framework 1.1 around, this is not the one you want (they can/should exist side-by-side, but if you don't need it for anything else, just stick with 1.0 and SP2).

and thanks to you too GNEP - i'll have to deal with this sooner than i thought!

while i'm at it.. was there something in the setup that i missed which pointed me to the .Net Framework?

                    Sorry was busy there Kuriton.

The G550 is ok for 2D stuff, but a little slow if I open anything 3D.

Most of my life however is 2D, and the 3D speed for most things I do the P750 is acceptable. Faster would be nice of course.
