  • Parhelia and Asus A7N8X

I've just built a new PC with the above components, and there is a minor bug which I'd like to fix
When I boot the machine the very first BIOS splash (POST) screen is just a jumble of coloured dots.
Flashing the latest BIOS (1005) on the A7N8X just changes the colours, it still can't be read.
Subsequent BIOS boot screens display OK
Is this some incompatability between the card and the board, or have others seen it with different video cards?
For example BIOS initially thinks card is AGP8X, when, of course, it's AGP4X

Flash the Parhelia with it's latest BIOS (found on the Matrox site) - this should fix the problem I think.
