Hi all,
I'm starting to get to grips with mini-DV and am about to start creating DVDs from my tapes. One of the very nice things about DV is the data code which contains the actual time and date that the scene was shot (as opposed to the time code which is relative to the start of the tape).
As MPEG2 (to my knowledge) does't support this, I though it would be cool to export the data code and then include it as a standard DVD subtitle which I can turn on and off at will during playback.
Anyone tried this or know of how it can be achieved? I guess in the worst case I could manually create the subtitles but I'm hoping for something a little more automated.
Cheers,
Paul
