Now you all do probably wonder how the heck I managed to get this running in Surround.
It's all thanks to Alexander Stasenko at www.morrowind.nm.ru and his Morrowind FPS Optimizer which in the latest version (1.94) has a surround option, with adjustable FOV and aspect ratio.

    It's awesome.

I want! Time to save up the pennies and get me two more 21" monitors....

Excellent! Will have to give it a go... what's the performance hit of going to surround like?

I'm not sure, since I'm using the optimizer, the fog just moves closer.

          I went from 1600x1200 w/ 16xFAA and aniso to 3456x864 w/ 16xFAA and aniso.
The performance is a bit lower, but it's still playable. If i moved down to 3072x768 it would probably be about the same.

Viewing Scrolls and Books in Surround

This makes the game a much more incredible experience. However, I found that when I open a scroll or a book that it opens in the aspect ratio that we would be in if our screens were not stretched. The problem is that the top and bottom are cut off and you can not close the book/scroll! Any hints would be appreciated! (Is there a hotkey to close a scroll?)

              Thanks all,
              -Nem

I'm not sure if there are any builtin key.
Maybe one could suggest it to Alexander to implement in the Optimizer.

                  Hi,
                  This is great news Zao.
                  But...
I can't get it to work across three monitors... I have copied your Optimizer screen shot ...
including the 3 in "using 3 monitor aspect"
The game only runs on one monitor ... do you have any ideas how I might fix this... have I missed something.
Thanks again for finding this gem !
                  Cheers.

Check R0M's post in the Matrox forum - there is a couple of registry entries that need changing for the resolution.

That solves the closing ... how about reading it.... most of it is off the screen.
