  • G200-TV memory expansion?

I've got a G200-TV AGP card which came with 8Mb RAM fitted on the board. Directly above the memory chips area is a white socket that looks like it takes an SODIMM memory device or similar. Can anyone tell me what sizes of memory expansions are available for this card, and if non-Matrox devices can be fitted (as I think Matrox will not supply memory for such an old card).

Matrox still sell memory upgrades for Marvel G200-TV.

      Matrox support for old kit...

Yeah, just after I posted this I thought "This is a Matrox card -- of course they'll support it." Pricey though. After adding VAT and postage it's going to cost me about 30 quid for an 8Mb expansion card which is expensive compared to current memory prices. If it's a simple SDRAM SODIMM as used in latops I can get one a lot cheaper than that second-hand, I think.
