    I haven't seen this posted and would like to see comments on it from all of you.
    In Windows 2000 I get the following error when I try to use PC-VCR and a similar error in Ulead VidStudio. "Matrox video editing hardware is currently not availible. Another program may be using your Matrox video editing hardware on there may not be enough graphics memory availible." It goes on to suggust closing other video software or lowering resolution neither of which work. This is an excerpt from the PCVCRErr.log
    "Wednesday, October 11, 2000
    18:35:44CDirectShowManager::SetVideoDestination -> HRESULT = 80004002
    CAMCaptureDevice::CreateGraph -> unable to instantiate video input filter
    CVideoPlaybackDevice::SwitchToVideoInput -> Input change has failed
    CDirectShowManager::SetVideoParent -> put_Visible HRESULT = 80004002
    CVideoPlaybackDevice::~CVideoPlaybackDevice -> Unsuccessful cleanup"

    I have tried uninstalling all video software and drivers and re-installing to no avail. Any suggustions would be appreciated. By the way I am in the computer field and my personal opinion would be an issue with the Beta driver and Win2k compatibility, which would be difficult to resolve without a new driver release, but I hope you can think of something else it could be. Please e-mail me back as I will probably forget to check the forum for an answer. (ben.franske@bigfoot.com)
