    Can anyone on teh forum resize avatars, as I have a nice new one but it's 5 pixels over limit could anyone help with my dilema

              Shamelessly hijacking the thread with more decent material and similar request

              edit: it's the right size though about 30k bigger than the limit. Was hoping 50x50 would reduce the space.

                    What's the max file size for an avatar?
                    Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.

                        yes, I know its small, but look at the potential 20kb x 11000 members....
                        ballpark of just over 200meg in avitars... (all living in our much used and overworked db)
