  • Anyone here with experince with Nforce chipset&Alsa&Red hat 9&Parhelia

After the new linux drivers for the Parhelia came out, i upgraded my main machinery to also run Red Hat 9. The parhelia is a bit on and off. If i force the driver i can get into X, but not if I don't, any ideas to why, or anyone having similar problems? The sound worked out of the box on two channels. But the rest is missing, I have installed he Alsa drivers, to see if I could get 6 channel sound out. But I am currenlty unable to get it working properly. Is there anyone in here running Redhat and Alsa, and hopefully a nforce board? Is there any way of forcing multichannel sound on the alsa driver to all channels all the time?
