After 18 years of playing in the NHL, 4 Stanly Cup championships, 3 Con Smyth trophies, most every record in the book broken, Colorado Avalanche goalie Patrick Roy today announced his retirement.
He was definatly key to the Avs success over his years here.

He goes down as the greatest goalie the game has ever known.

So long, Patrick...we'll miss you...
