Am I the only one that thinks the hair on that demo and 3Dmark2k3 looks horrid?

I am confused with the whole R300 and 350 thing again. I take it this needs a DX9 card?
The Welsh support two teams when it comes to rugby. Wales of course, and anyone else playing England

I agree - but each strand of that hair has its movement calculated on the fly - supposedly meant to be very impressive.

            It does look quite good.

Its not very stressing, I DO believe that a wrapper could be made to work on a parhelia as well.

It runs excellent on my clocked 9500 @1280x1024, 4x; 16x.

If interested in screenshots, just holler.

I doubt. It uses Pixel shaders 2.0, and Parhelia only goes up to 1.3.

About the stressing part, most users aren´t running it on "ultra" settings (launch it from the start menu). It does look VERY real but the framerate takes a dive.

You sure? People got it to run on old GeForce with NV30 Emulator.

Now we need new 3D Analyze

Heh. I DID run it on Ultra setting, still not a tough nut to carry

Oh, and about the "patch"? Thats really not important. Just rename the .exe to "quake3.exe", and the elfin figur renders "in nature".

Seems the Nvidia coders know their buyers..

Ill post a pic, just a sec.

                          Heres the pictures...

It even runs stable enough, to alt tab out and back in again (to paste and save screen dump).

                          Demo runs at 1280x1024x32bit, 4xAA, 16xAF.

Oh, .tifs available on request, but the .jpg compression is not that hard.
