  • 450eTV capture files not recognized as mpeg2

    Hello
When I capture from my 450eTV, the program splits the MPEG2 files in several files of max 4GB when this limit is reached.

I have tried to join this files together with TmpGenc 12a (after renaming the second files to .mpg of course...), but the program says its not a valid mpeg2. The first file is OK.

Have also downloaded a newer demo of the TmpGenc, but its the same problem. This new version did not find any audio in none of the matrox captured files! (but the old TmpGenc does..)

What is the different in the format from the first to the other files witch are generated automaticaly?

Is there a way to capture to only to one file? NTFS support sizes over 4GB

Take a look at the forum at matrox.com. Search for B139B. The other files have no header...

if they have noi header, and you ARE using NTFS can you do a simple concatenation.

eg at the dos prompt type

      copy file1+file2+file3...+filen joinedflle
