  • Help ID these cards...

    The white label(s) read:

    MIL2P/8N

    and

    MAT-M3D/N

I need to identify these so that I may locate the correct drivers...

Can anyone tell me what exactly they are, if they are compatible with one another, with WinME, and perhaps where I can get the correct drivers?

    Thanx!

Sounds like a Matrox Milennium 2, 8MB and a Matrox M3D..both cards from a long time ago.

    Drivers

Millennium II driver for winME available with OS ..none newer

M3D - none for any version higher than Windows 98

Hmmm... I thought it was Millenium 2 (like you suggest), but it does not resemble the picture of the Mil 2 that I saw in the manual that I downloaded... of course, it was not a photo...

      Thanks for the reply.

Is there anything else I need, other than the cards, and drivers, to use them? (any other hardware?)

Are these any better (opinion poll!) than the Nvidia Vanta LT that is currently installed in my system?

2D wise, Millennium II probably blows nV away
