  • Damn MSN Messenger SPAM

Anyone else getting an absurd amount of MSN popup porn spam? It's getting out of hand. I'm using trillian if it matters...maybe there's a setting I can change to prevent them?

      Disable "messenger" service.
But it basically disables your "net send" function...

WyWyWyWy - I tried that, but I didn't reboot yet (dunno if that matters). The service is stopped at the moment, but I still get them. Again, I dunno if it matters since I'm using Trillian or not.

Too bad Trillian is next to useless for me
I really want to use Trillian because of skinning

Why is it next to useless? Voice stuff?

The skinning is overrated. It was great when it came out, but XP's skinning isn't too bad, and doesn't have the instability of Trillian's.

I just realised why I get soooo much Hotmail spam. Silly me had put my hotmail address as the admin contact in the WHOIS for a domain I setup a couple of years ago for my brother. D'OH! All changed now.

On topic: Yup, Trillian for me as well. Just wish I could use it (or any instant messaging software) at work...
