  • Any better DVDMax since the G400?

Has the TV-Out quality improved at all since the G400 series? I know the G450 moved that functionality into the main core, and performance dropped (along with the ability to use it in DOS).

Do the later Parhelias improve DVDMax quality, or should I stick with my G400 Dualhead?

C't magazine says the P's image quality (both VGA and TV out) isn't as good as older models.

Parhelia has worse vga-out than G400? Is this true?

Also, does the DVDMax output of the Parhelia fixed at 1024x768, 16 bit like the G400?

I was planing on getting the P-650 for a HTPC so I am hoping to get answers.

If the HTPC is going to use interlaced TV-Out, like S-video, stick with the G400. If you have RBG (VGA) available, sorry Matrox folks, but the Radeon wins there.

I don't see the Parhelia winning for any DVD playing.

only on Matrox cards, all others fall below the G400.
