  • OLED arrives!!

The first consumer OLED device has just arrived:

A global technology company providing industry-leading products and services for commercial print, packaging, publishing, manufacturing and entertainment.

The picture viewer on the back of the camera uses a 2.2" (5.6 cm) OLED display. If I find one in a store I plan on checking out how the OLED display looks

I read an article recently, I believe that one of the new HP pocket PCs are using these screens too...very awsome

Problem with OLEDs is, they still degrade pretty quick - and the different colors degrade at different speeds.

Maybe they can put some kind of bacteria in them that keeps the stuff working... just add water and a drop of HP BOLED (Bio-organic LED) nutrient solution part number 493-34983 once a week.

Great - they'll sell you a 20" OLED for 100$ and screw you with <strike>ink</strike> BOLED prices
