  • MSP 6.0 and the Marvel G400

    I have the Marvel G400 and am considering purchasing MediaStudio Pro 6.0 but only if I can figure out how to get the trial version to work. So far, it's working well, eg. good quality, smooth video output, but it is VERY slow compared to Premiere. It takes up to 10 seconds to start playback of rendered video and every time I want to view even the smallest change on the timeline, it must render for a long time. Are there any settings which I should change?

    I've added two lines already to the ulead32.ini file which corrected the "multiple file playback error". They are:

    [HardwareAcc]
    NotSaveOpenDML=1

    [Playback]
    RenderAudio=1

    What else could I do to increase MSP 6.0's performance?

    Try this:

    [HardwareAcc]
    AviPlayEngineMCI=1
    HwCodecID=dmb1
    ;AlwaysKeepLastFrame=1
    DisableAcc1=0
    ;RecompressWhenScrubbing=1
    DirectAccessDVAudio=1
    EnableDVScrub=1
    RecompDVScrub=1

    [VCAP4_CAPTURE]
    DisableDriverBeforePlayback=1

    [Playback]
    PlayDll7=U32mpb.dll
    PlayDll8=U32mpbm.dll
    PlayDll9=Upbplug2.dll
    ;PlayDll4=C:\PROGRA~1\MATROX~1\MCLPlugin.dll

      To avoid rerendering small changes, try to set the project parameters exactly the same as the captured clips.
      The transitions and titles are allways rerendered.
