  • Software to track Registry's changes ?

    Hi everyone,
I need a software to finish my little school assignment and its shareware. Unfortunately, it only allows me to use it 10 times and that's it. Uninstalled and reinstalled did not help. Even when I tried to install its older version, it still showed the latest version.
I tried to search for possible key it left in the registry but I could not. So I think it must hides a key somewhere in the Registry to prevent me from using it without paying. And I definitely dont want to pay big $$$$ (about $100) just to finish my 5%-worth assignment.
So I'm about to install Win again and want to know what keys the software puts in the Registry so that I can delete it and reinstall the software in case I go over 10-time usage again.
    Is there such software ?
    Thanks.

You're asking us to help you steal software? LOL.

Yeah, there are lots of programs like this. Everything from Norton Cleansweep to something called RegMon to... dozens of apps. Do a web search.

    I have spoken.

You'd be better off looking for a freeware program.

        Gurm,
As I said, I only need it to finish my little assignment and say goodbye it forever. I'm not attempting to steal it since what I'm trying to do is try it without cracking it or something. If it uses time-limited evaluation method, I'll be ok. Anyway, thanks for your suggestions. I think RegMon is what I need. I will give it a try.

          I had a smilie and a LOL.

That said, there are lots of freeware apps. Hope RegMon does what you need, but if not there's always Astalavista.
