Think that the Catwoman spinoff looks lame? Try this Superman revival:

Sups: Brendan Fraser (The Mummy; Gods & Monsters) or Matthew Bomer (The Guiding Light)
      Lois Lane: Keri Russell (Felicity)
      Jimmy Olsen: Justin Timberlake

      Also: there are two Batman movies coming;

      Batman: year one (origin prequal)

Batman Beyond (based on the futuristic animated series)

Spiderman wasn't a disappointment either. Pretty good flick.

And X2 is coming. X-Men was good enough that I want to see the sequel (Colossus looks awesome. I wish there were Sentinels). League of Extraordinary Gentlemen has some potential. I'm less excited about The Hulk than I had been. The latest preview shows him doing all the cliches I was hoping they'd avoid (taking on an army, etc.).

X2 definately something to look for.

Hulk... well, looked a little TOO animated for my tastes.

X-Men was absolutely great.. How could you go wrong with BOTH Anna Paquin and Rebecca Romijn in the same move? Also, for the brain there was Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen. Great flick.

Yeah the latest Superman announcements have been rather disappointing. I still have hope for Batman though... hopefully they can make up for the last few (as in all of them not starring Keaton).

Hulk seems a little over the top now. Will have to wait and see.

I like Halle Berry and all, but I just can't see her as Catwoman. Then again I wasn't sure how to take Toby as Spiderman (which turned out pretty good all things considered).

I thought he was damned near perfect.

Don't forget how many people thought Keaton was wrong for Batman, then after the movie came out it switched to "yeah.....cool".

Keaton was definitely the best batman of the bunch.

You won't find any arguments here. Keaton was the best Batman of the series of movies.

Keaton, in my mind was perfect for the Batman that he played. Of course the Batman he played was a bit more dark than some of the earlier ones (in film/tv and comics).

Some of the Batman actors that follow might not have been too bad, except for the lackluster scripts and the trend towards neon, bright sets (and let's not discuss what they did to the Batmobile later on).

I think the deal with Berry is that she is on a roll, so to speak. It's pure "bankability" (though I'm sure she could carry her weight).
