  • Best Price in UK for Parhelia Retail

OK I know, but I'm getting one anyway so might as well get it as cheap as I can. Tired of playing Hot Pursuit 2 at 640x480, getting 746 or 748 board soon(tm), but in the meantime I want to enhance my gaming experience. Is anywhere cheaper than the matrox shop?

keep an eye on the 'today special' at www.scan.co.uk as the P ever so frequently turns up there along with some other matrox cards!

          Unlikely.
Unless you buy from the states and have good luck escaping import tax.

              You are VERY lucky
I got mine for about 200 from a proper wholesaler. (i.e. no profit for retail and no VAT).

I can't bring myself to buy secondhand goods so ebay is out of the question. I'll probably get it from the matrox store.

                  Misunderstood
50% of the goods on eBay are first-hand.
It is an auction site, not a second-hand site.

In fact, 10 to 20% of the goods ain't even auctions... many are "buy-it-now" nowadays.

                  In short, eBay is good!

Already ordered from scan. I prefer to buy from a company rather than a person, unless it is somebody I can trust. I don't think I'll ever buy anything off ebay

I dont know why you owuld be so worried about buying from a person ?? have you had bad experiences in the past ??

As long as the seller has a good rating there really isn't a reason to be worried Ebay is great

Can ratings not be 'artificially enhanced' as it were?

You would have to pay quite a lot to eBay then...
and multiple positive feedback from one buyer = one effective positive feedback only.

By the way, there is buyer and selling protection scheme.
