  • Hard disk tools?

I've got this new Maxtor HD that I'm trying to use on my PC.
I want to transfer partitions from the old drive to the new one, but each time I start Ghost (a really old version) it says there is a bad block over the new disk.
But formatting and scandisk gives no errors...

So, anyone know a good tool to check disk integrity?
Sat on a pile of deads, I enjoy my oysters.

You can configure ghost to ignore bad blocks!
According to the latest official figures, 43% of all statistics are totally worthless...

Well, Norton used to be the tool of choice, but nowadays it is useless.

I use OnTrack Easy Recovery Pro, which in addition to disk tools also has Office file recovery tools for corrupted office files and will even undelete deleted items within your outlook .PST file.

      Very good toolset.
