For users of the MSI KT4V mobos (MS-6712), MSI have released a new BIOS which ads support for the AMD 3000+ CPU (Barton) AND ads a CPU HALT command detection in the BIOS... Seems to be working so far, even w/o the Cooler XP app from MSI it seems to run quite cool (XP 2100+ ranging from ~30C to ~45C with a cheap Titan Cooler with 80mm fan)...
