Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, the suspected mastermind of the Sept. 11, 2001 terror attacks in the United States, was arrested Saturday in Pakistan along with two other suspected members of Al Qaeda.

AP report....

Pakistan has announced that he will be extradited to the US.

I read about this torture (I think it was some kind of ancient Chinese thing, but I'm not sure,) where they'd take some cloth, fill it with broken glass or sharp bits of metal or something, stick it in your mouth and force it down with water (you have to swallow, otherwise you'd drown.) Then they'd YANK it out really hard after it went down.

None of these tortures will be possible, unfortunately. Subjecting him to the genreral population of an American prison (hopefully one with a large population of white supremacists) would do the trick. I doubt he would last a month.

Humans over the last few thousand years have surely shown creativity when it comes to torture. We should be lucky these times are over, at least in most parts of the world.
