  • eBay is giving me Gyp

So I'll try and sell some stuff on here.

I'd stick it in the Happy Shopper, but I'm not sure anyone goes there.

Ok, I've just bought myself a shiny little DVD / CDRW combo drive from Samsung and find myself with some hardware that I can't sell to my immediate friends.

Pioneer 305S 10x SCSI DVD drive (slot loading) (with region free firmware)

Yamaha 2100S SCSI 16x10x40 CD-RW drive (with original box manuals, software etc)

Tekram 395U PCI SCSI controller with BIOS (can boot from the SCSI drives)

And I've been asked to sell something for a mate -

Ericsson T68. Boxed with manuals etc (about 8 months old)(fully functional)

I have some ball-park prices in my head that I'll put on here if there's interest in anything.

If no-one bites then I'll have to ring up eBay and get my sellers account set up properly. Damn them!

I'll make a donation to the MURC for every item sold - what percentage do people think?

    Uberlad

*Edit* - I should probably mention that postage is going be rather expensive to anywhere but the UK. But I expect you'd already worked that out

Yeah, maybe prices would have been good from the get-go.

        DVD drive. £35
        CD-RW. £35
        SCSI card. £15

        T68. £60

I can drop the prices a bit if someone wants multiple items but my target for the three SCSI things is to make at least £70 so I can get me a Barracuda IV 80Gb (Mmmmmmmm)

(Uberlad sees all interest scurry away )

In fact I want to buy it for her.
              I've got a T68 already.

By the way, is your metallic grey?

              EDIT1:
Oh by the way, is it locked to any network??
Me Vodafone, but of course prefer unlocked.

              EDIT2:
Can you please give me email address for proper communication?

Well I'm definitely interested in the DVD. What sort of condition is it in? Is it dusty? Scratched? Does it still have the manuals/software/box? Also, you're sure it's a 305S and not a 304 or earlier (insulting your intelligence now, I know).

WyWyWyWy - I believe that it is.

                  Picture is at this address.

If you're in Cardiff it would probably be cheaper to drive over and pick it up than to muck about with postage and the like.

Anyway, PM me if you get the go-ahead

*Edit* - Should warn you that it's a 300k image

Ribbit - It's in good condition, just a bit of dust on the front that I will clean off (obviously)

It _is_ the 305S, not any of the earlier models. I'll double check when I get home in case my intelligence has left me after a long day at work 8-)

It came OEM without a cable, or manuals.

If i have trouble selling the SCSI card then you could have the cable from that.

As I said it has been updated with a patched version of the latest firmware that has made it RPC1.

I've never had any trouble with it but I've just decided that SCSI is no longer necessary for optical drives in my system (always was a little overkill )

Sounds good uberlad. If you're willing to make that £35 inclusive of p&p etc., consider it sold. If you're happy with that, PM me to tell me where to send the cheque.

Don't worry about cables, I've got SCSI cables coming out of my ears

That would have looked good in my SCSI rig next to my PX1210S!

No one wants a 'classic' yamaha CD burner then?

Ah well, eBay may yet have to sort me out.

The Barracuda will be mine, oh yes, it will be mine.
