Ulead video studio 3.0 - .vsp - .avi ??

When capturing on Ulead 3.0, I seem to get better picture viewing with media players avi
but cannot view the entire project because after it renders it is then .vsp. Is there any way to view, convert, or render in media players .avi.

By the way I would just like to say thanks to all you knowledgeable people out there that help out poor schmucks like me.I'm just starting out as a hobbyist in video editing
and have much more enthusiasim than money for
all the neat hardware.

I'm not sure if I understand your question correctly, but there is a function like 'create video file' in the software. The '.vsp' file is the project that you are creating and can't be played itself. It only descibes the parts of the several files you use in the project and how they are edited.
