Yes, he does. Read his other recent threads.

P.S. Uninstalling McAfee BSOD's everyone. That's one reason I don't like it. Any version lower than 7.01 is a timebomb waiting to **** your machine... and 7.01 is an unofficial version that you have to beg tech support for.

and even 7.01 makes my system unstable causing explorer.exe to crash, alongside other programs if you don't reboot as soon as explorer stalls/crashes. It's a real POS

perhaps the 4.51 multiplatform version for business is better, but I rather not install anything with McAfee in the name ever again.

                    I currently use AVG Pro.

                    My complaint list:

                    1. Doesn't scan inside archives. Not REALLY a problem, because let's face it this is irritating.

                    2. Can't clean files. The option is there, but it never EVER works. I don't know why.

                    3. No virus info. Again, the option is there, but there isn't any informatin about ANY viruses.

Perhaps i should uninstall and reinstall McAfee?

Mcafee is so shit we've got fed up of it destroying machines on our network so we're not renewing our license. Unfortunatley the replacement Sophos has a few issues as well like refusing at times to clean files and offering to delete the files instead and asking the user to restore from there non exsistant backups. The backups are probably infected as well.

Sophos, as a policy, does not believe in cleaning infected files. They assume you have a backup.

AVG is honestly the best compromise I've found.
