  • automated conversion to DigiSuite LE video format

    Hello,

I am facing some troubles with conversion of video clips to a format that is compatible with the DigiSuite LE. I need to compress clips outside of the machine, so I can't really use the proprietary DigiTools convertor.

I'm using the Morgan codec to encode to Motion JPG. This works fine as long as I encode it to DV-PAL resolution (where my Inscriber RTX system runs on), it displays fine. But when I encode it to another resolution, like 320x240, it displays all distorted. I'm not talking about pixelated distortion, but the video clip get's fragmented and polluted with colored noise.

Does anybody know what kind of problem I'm facing? Perhaps a solution to this problem or alternative ways of dealing with it?

Any help is appreciated, preferably by email. Thanks!

You need to post this in the "Desktop Video" forum, not "General Hardware."
