  • Experience of Parhelia under Linux, *BSD, BeOS and other OSes!

Please post your experience, whether good or bad!!

    And for me...

    - RedHat Linux 8.0

Very stable very good very easy. Can't get second head to work though. It is due to the fact that I have a TV hooked up I think.

I don't have busmastering enabled because of stupid agpgart. Using software cursor too.

    - FreeBSD 4.7 & 5.0

Can't get it to work Theoratically it should work without busmastering and hardware cursor. But all I get is the Matrox logo (High Fidelity Graphics... heh) and it freezes. Cold boot required.

Can't get VESA to work too. Well at 640x480 it does work, but nothing above this.

    - BeOS

QNX-can do any VESA resolution@60Hz...no artifacts, it's pretty much OK I guess....

Linux-I still haven't been able to properly install those bloody drivers....
All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.
