Add file info to .mpg files

When you play mpg through the media player, there is an area for date, titles and author.
Is there a way to update an exsisting mpg with this info.

That is a good question. I know that you can put subject and description in MSP6, but I would like to be able to put other stuff in there to be able to distinguish different clips easier. I am constantly trying different compressors and res and things and it becomes a pain to keep them organized. If anyone has something, please let us know. I wouldn't think it would be too big and should be along the lines of free/shareware. it wouldn't be there if it couldn't be done.
